You'll have to use your imagination on this one seeing as my sketching skills are pretty amateur, but here is a glimpse of the bed...

Here are some before photos of the room I will be doing, it's a second floor bedroom.... I think it'll be quite a transformation. Sketches and more research to follow soon...
Just got the new Anthropologie catalog in the mail today...
And... Wow... does it look a lot like a vintage circus theme!!! Jeez. Let it be known that my concept came out before this issue of Anthro. (and Anthropologie, I still love you, but what timing, seriously... hahahaha) IRONY! I guess great minds think alike.
And some fun circus style typography might make an appearance as well...
I'm thinking about using old pallets as a bed frame in my Showhouse room, and maybe paint "Cargo" or "This side up", etc, etc on the sides and then sand it off to look worn. Could be fun........

This might have to make an appearance in my room for the Designer Showhouse, It's from this lovely company Scandi Living.....
I am this company's lead Photo Stylist, and I do almost all of their catalog photography with a great photographer David Biegelsen. It's called Cambria Cove and they have lots of beautiful gifts, or just goodies for yourself! Check out their website, there is some great stuff.
I am a stylist in Kansas City and have been for almost 5 years. Wardrobe, props, set design, lifestyle, still life... love it all! I have a passion for a beautifully composed and crafted photograph, as well as good design. I have extreme respect for the entire art community and all of its many facets, and continue to have a thirst for the knowledge of those crafts that I don't currently understand. I think every rule is meant to be broken if done thoughtfully and well. And last but not least I like to stay in a moment where I am confident in my ideas, and yet slightly terrified to pull them off at the same time...
